The Dutch Music Video Competition is the first Dutch competition that is purely about music videos. During the Dutch Music Video Night, the audience chooses the best national and international music video. You will get to watch the documentary The Extraordinary Life of José Gonzàlez and the Dutch premiere of I Just Want To Call You Baby, a rockumentary about rock chick Elle Bandita, including a Q&A with documentary maker Kim Herman and an acoustic performance by Elle Bandita. You will also get the unique experience of watching 3D music videos! In collaboration with Pitchfork.tv, we will present a compilation of musical portraits, with among others Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Deerhunter and Gwar. Pitchfork.tv is the online platform for independent music, operating from Brooklyn, NYC. The night will go on with performances by: Sweatshop Soundsystem, Mr. Newton & U.N.O.M. and KNALPOT. In addition, you can vote live on your favorite music video!
