Op een verbazingwekkende kleine kavel van slechts 30 bij 35 meter staat de hoogste woontoren van Den Haag van 130 meter, het Strijkijzer.
Het Strijkijzer telt meer dan 350 woningen en werkruimtes. Maar dat is niet alles. Zo is er een bijzonder panoramaterras op de 41ste verdieping, te bereiken met een fraaie glazen lift. Het Strijkijzer is de ultieme Shoot Me locatie.
Het Shoot Me Café is het epicentrum van het festival.
Dit jaar is het Café gevestigd in het Strijkijzer met speciale thema-avonden, optredens van uiteenlopende bands en feesten waar je bij moet zijn!

On an incredibly small plot - just 30 by 35 metres - a 130 metre-high residential tower block, the highest in The Hague, Het Strijkijzer stands.
Het Strijkijzer has over 351 housing units and workspaces. And there is more: a special glass panorama lift that goes straight to the terrace on the 41st floor. Het Strijkijzer is the ultimate Shoot Me location.
The Shoot Me Café is the epicentre of the festival.
This year, the festival Café is located in the Strijkijzer at the Rijswijkseplein. In addition, there are also themed evenings, performances by a whole range of bands and parties that must be experienced!

Sinds de zomer van 2007 is de voetbalclub ADO Den Haag gevestigd in het prachtige voetbalstadion aan het Prins Clausplein te Den Haag. Het stadion heeft echter veel meer te bieden dan alleen een 'voetbalfunctie'. Het gebouw is uitermate geschikt voor tal van evenementen. Hoe groot of klein een evenement ook is, je kunt terecht in het ADO Den Haag stadion. De statige Residentie Club of de sfeervolle Senaatskamer, de gezellige Business Lounge of één van de luxe Business Units, zelfs de tribunes en kleedkamers behoren tot de mogelijkheden.

Since the summer of 2007, the ADO Den Haag football club has been located at the beautiful stadium on the Prins Clausplein in The Hague. However, the stadium has a lot more to offer than 'just' football. The building is eminently suitable for all manner of events. However large or small, there is suitable accommodation available at the ADO Den Haag stadium. The stately Residentie Club or the atmospheric Senaatskamer, the cosy Business Lounge or one of the luxury Business Units, even the stands and the dressing rooms are options.

De E.ON centrale aan het De Constant Rebecqueplein is de oudste nog in bedrijf zijnde energiecentrale van Nederland. De centrale voorziet de Hofstad al meer dan 100 jaar van energie. Naast elektriciteit levert de centrale sinds 1978 ook warmte voor de stadsverwarming. Ongeveer 30 procent van de warmte wordt aan de Rijksgebouwendienst geleverd, waaronder departementen en Het Binnenhof, maar ook het Westeinde Ziekenhuis en hotel Des Indes ontvangen E.ON warmte.
In de enorme hal van deze imposante locatie presenteert Shoot Me een overdonderend multimedia spektakel en de prijsuitreikingen van de Dutch Music Video Competition en Different Angle Film Competition.

The E.ON power station on the Constant Rebecqueplein is the oldest working power station in the Netherlands. The station has provided energy to the seat of government for over 100 years. Alongside electricity, the power station has also provided heat to the urban heating system since 1978. Approximately 30 percent of the heat is supplied to the Rijksgebouwendienst [government buildings agency] which includes the Ministries and the Binnenhof [location of parliament], but the Westeinde Ziekenhuis [hospital] and Hotel Des Indes also benefit from E.ON heat.
In the enormous hall of this imposing space Shoot Me presents an overwhelming multimedia spectacle and the award ceremonies of the Dutch Music Video Competition and Different Angle Film Competition.

Met het vertrek van de NorfolkLine uit de Scheveningen Haven is Den Haag een tijdelijk evenemententerrein rijker... NORFOLK! Na het vertrek van Norfolkline naar Vlaardingen is medio 2007 het terrein opgeleverd aan de gemeente Den Haag. Tot 2012 heeft het gebied tijdelijk een nieuwe bestemming. Shoot Me is aanwezig met een drive-in bioscoop op het evenemententerrein en Loods 3 van Norfolk.
Verken een gebied dat tot voor kort besloten was en weinig bekend was, zelfs bij de Hagenaar!

With the departure of the NorfolkLine from Scheveningen's harbour, The Hague has acquired a temporary event site... NORFOLK! After the Norfolkline's departure to Vlaardingen, the site was made available to The Hague's municipal government in mid-2007. The area has been temporarily re-zoned until 2012.
Shoot Me will be present with a drive-in cinema on the event site and at the industrial hall called Loods 3 of Norfolk. Get introduced to an area that - until recently - was off limits and unfamiliar to many, including The Hague's inhabitants!
