Shoot Me In the Summer a success!
We look back on a very succesful week during he Hague Festivals! The Shoot Me Film Festival was present at different locations in the city during this summer edition from 20 through 27 June.

Shoot Me @ de Grote Markt
Shoot Me screened an exceptional film at the PopHotSpot on the Grote Markt square every evening from 20 - 24 June. More than 250 visitors watched films like the acclaimed documentary ‘Beautiful Losers’. Wireless headphones allowed the public to listen to the films while seated at the terrace of the Grote Markt square.
In addition, on 24 June Shoot Me presented a programme of music and film together with MuteSounds; a cooperation aimed at deaf, partially hearing and hearing visitors to The Hague Festivals.

Shoot Me @ the Kwantum
From 24 through 27 June MuteSounds and Shoot Me shared their ‘home base’ in the the former Kwantum shop at the Grote Markt. The Kwantum was resurrected with installations and two parties.
On 25 June Shoot Me joined forces with party organisation !S GOED, all dance styles were brought to bear to create a steamy party night.
27 June was the Dag van de Architectuur (Architecture Day). The afterparty took place at the Kwantum, where the skatefilm ‘Sour’ was screened, and afterwards the crowd partied at a completely sold out venue with local DJ collective Kruipend Naar Huis.

Shoot Me @ PIP
On Architecture Day, Shoot Me was also present at PIP. This year’s theme was architecture and mobility. Shoot Me presented a special programme with film clips that illustrated the development of skateboarding over the past 50 years.

Shoot Me Fifth Edition
Shoot Me in the Summer offered just a taste of what the public can expect during the
actual festival in October.  Then the Shoot Me Film Festival will celebrate its fifth
anniversary, with another fresh and challenging programme  based on
independent film, presented in unexpected locations.

Shoot Me In the Summer een succes!
Wij kijken terug op een erg geslaagde week tijdens The Hague Festivals!
Het Shoot Me Film Festival was tijdens deze zomer-editie van 20 tot 27 juni aanwezig op verschillende locaties in de stad.

Shoot Me @ de Grote Markt
Op de PopHotSpot op de Grote Markt was van 20 tot 24 juni elke avond een bijzondere film te zien. Meer dan 250 bezoekers zagen in de open lucht films als de alom geprezen documentaire ‘Beautiful Losers’. Vanaf het terras van de Grote Markt kon het publiek de films volgen met een koptelefoon.
Daarnaast presenteerde Shoot Me op 24 juni samen met Mutesounds een avondvullend programma met muziek én film; een samenwerking gericht op dove, slechthorende, maar ook horende bezoekers van The Hague Festivals.

Shoot me @ the Kwantum
De voormalige Kwantum aan de Grote Markt herleefde van 24 tot 27 juni als gezamelijke homebase voor MuteSounds en Shoot Me. Er waren installaties en films te bewonderen en twee feesten.
Samen met feestorganisatie !S GOED organiseerde Shoot Me op 25 juni een dampend feest waarbij alle dansstromingen voorbij kwamen.
27 juni stond in het teken van de Dag van de Architectuur. In de Kwantum vond de afterparty plaats met de skatefilm Sour en een compleet uitverkochte zaal vierde aansluitend feest met het Haagse DJ collectief Kruipend Naar Huis.

Op de Dag van de Architectuur, was Shoot Me ook te vinden in PIP. Het thema van deze dag was dit jaar architectuur en mobiliteit. Shoot Me presenteerde daarom een speciale programmering met filmfragmenten die de ontwikkeling van het skateboarden in de afgelopen 50 jaar liet zien.

Shoot Me Vijfde Editie
Shoot Me in the Summer bood een klein maar veelbelovend voorproefje van wat de  
bezoeker staat te wachten in het najaar. Dan viert het Shoot Me Film Festival haar
vijfjarig jubileum met opnieuw een uitdagend en fris programma rond independent
film op verrassende locaties.
