'The American Artifact: The Rise of American Rock Poster Art' (2009) gaat over de ontwikkeling van rock poster kunst sinds het ontstaan in de jaren 60 in Amerika. Regisseur Merle Becker ging het hele land door en interviewde diverse rock poster kunstenaars over hun vak. De ontwikkelingen binnen deze kunstvorm lopen vrijwel parallel aan de veranderingen in de Amerikaanse samenleving. Een 88 minuten durende roadtrip die de kijker meeneemt op een reis door een bijzondere kant van de muziekwereld. (gratis!)

Op de dag dat de gehele Grote Markt in het teken staat van de rollerdisco, vertoont het Shoot Me Film Festival twee films gebaseerd op de rollerdisco hype eind jaren 70.
'Roller Boogie' (1979) over skaters die de plaatselijke rollerdisco willen redden.
'Skatetown USA' (1979) met de enige echte Patrick Swayze in de hoofdrol, ooit 'The Rock and Roller Disco Movie of the Year!'. Mag je dus niet missen ;-) (gratis!)

On the day that the entire Grote Markt is turned into one big rollerdisco, the Shoot Me Film Festival will be screening two movies inspired by the rollerdisco craze of the late 1970s. 'Roller Boogie' (1979) about skaters who try to save the local rollerdisco.
'Skatetown USA' (1979) starring the one and only Patrick Swayze, once 'The Rock and Roller Disco Movie of the Year!'. You don't wanna miss this ;-) (free!)
